The first results of the implementation of the national project “Improving Labor Efficiency and Support of Employment”

         A national project to increase labor efficiency was launched at “Tomskcable”. For three months of the project, the participants in the working group, together with experts from the Federal Center of Competence, conducted a diagnosis of the current state. The optimization process of the production flow of power armored cables with sector housing has begun. This stream includes a drag line, a standing machine, two extrusion lines and an armoring line. In the course of a complex analysis of this production process using lean manufacturing tools, such as mapping, monitoring and timing at workplaces, reserves in the field of improving the efficiency of equipment use and improving the quality of production planning were identified.
     The working group made suggestions to ;eliminate existing difficulties, which include setting up a new electronic planning system, conducting production analysis to identify the root causes of defects and the most efficient use of equipment, implementation of 5C system and general equipment maintenance. By implementing these improvements, we will be able to achieve the target state of the pilot flow - a new working way that aimed at increasing of labor efficiency.
