Траверсивный приемник имеет портальный тип с вывешиванием барабана на пинолях. Телескопически поднимающиеся пинольные штанги являются узкими, обеспечивая хороший доступ к барабану, при закреплении кабеля.
Приемник состоит из двух главных компонентов: портальной рамы и каретки. Телескопические подъемные рычаги – подвесные, с подвижной кареткой, которая движется по балкам с помощью колеса. Все движения пинолей, вверх/вниз, внутрь/наружу, механизированы.
